Alice joins earMusic’s growing roster of genre defining artists which includes Def Leppard, BABYMETAL, Status Quo, Marillion, Thunder, Tarja and Deacon Blue. Most recently earMusic have delivered the international #1 album “infinite” for Deep Purple smashing the band's 30 year old plus chart records worldwide.
Now earMusic prepares to launch a worldwide campaign to do the same for Alice Cooper through its well-established global network.
“Paranormal”, Alice Cooper’s new studio album, his first in 6 years, is going to be released on July 28th, 2017, on earMusic as 2CD Digipak, 2LP, Limited Box Set and Digital.
The 12 track album has been recorded in Nashville with long-time collaborator Bob Ezrin and features a very special bonus CD – a mini-album consisting of three brand new songs written and recorded together with the original Alice Cooper band members Dennis Dunaway, drummer Neal Smith and guitarist Michael Bruce alongside carefully selected live recordings.
“Paranormal” also features special guest appearances by U2’s Larry Mullen Jr., ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons and Deep Purple’s Roger Glover.
Alice’s new album shares with “InFinite” in being produced and co-written in Nashville by legendary producer Bob Ezrin (Alice’s long time co-writer and producer and also producer of classic albums by Pink Floyd, Lou Reed and Kiss amongst many others.)
The album promises a return to Cooper's early garage rock sound and the contribution of some legendary guests including Deep Purple's Roger Glover, ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons and U2’s drummer Larry Mullen Jr.
