The classic rock/blues rock band Boneyard Dog was founded in 2015. As a part of their 2018 tour, they played in London, at The Underworld, on the 19th of March along with Jac Dalton.
Boneyard Dog, which consist of Rob Mancini on vocals (his voice perfectly suits the blues rock and classic rock genre), Athan “Lyssa” Kazakis on guitar (he plays some perfect blues-rock solos), Kevin Monaghan on bass and Sean Brogain on drums, entered the stage with lots of energy & power.
They might be a new band, but the sound was straight up from the 80s/70s blues and rock n roll. Their passion about blues rock leads them to their project, Boneyard Dog. As you know, we all crave a little taste of the past music, the technical sides have changed and making music now no longer have that joy of the old music. Boneyard Dog made it possible to get a taste of the 80s/70s classic and blues rock even though we’re in 2018. They can put up a vibe similar to ZZ top & bad company in some way, it was pure blues rock. Their melodic songs made the crowd dance through the whole gig, the drum beats and the guitar made them sway and move around.
The song “Fire Down Below” was the highlight of the night, as every single person seemed to enjoy it, especially the lovey dovey couples. The band members’ charisma and charm made their show a lot better. The fontman Jac Dalton and his soaring classic voice is what’s needed in the music industry at the moment; a good unique voice. Travis Corey Grace on lead guitar, Stephen Pirie on rhythm guitar along with Michael Giuffreda & Matthew Nicholls on drums and bass respectively, did a great job in getting the right sound for the band; every single note was perfect for the band’s style and genre.
