Great music & various thoughts...

GR logoHere I am, writing the editorial of September, as summer has, once more, passed like a vision… like the wave in the sea. I have become a little more artistic while listening to some new great albums and writing down these words. When music is inspiring, intense & full of emotions it can easily drag you into its interminable, strange cosmos.

Most of the music, labels and bands issues have already been covered on the previous Editorials so I won’t refer to them again, until something new occurs. The odd thing is that nothing has really changed and the bands, artists, labels etc. keep doing the same things and have the identical approach when trying to achieve things. We do not want to be part of that “system” and as we have always done, we will be doing things our own way… at least as long as we can.

There are so many great & unheard releases out there every month which won’t find their way to a bigger audience due to this uneven and partial “music system” where the rules say that money talks. Why should always a bunch of labels, mag & webzines deal with a few specific bands/artists and nothing more whereas more and more music (even from the past) is waiting there to be “discovered” by the “independent music lovers”?! Why the majority of the fans is so easily hooked by nonsense and false rock-star attitudes and they support & follow the same “music system” which has dragged music to the gutter is truly beyond me…

PS1: Wish you all a great fall/winter time, with lots of wonderful music and fewer worries…

PS2: It came from the past just to confirm the rule that good music has been delivered in all decades and the music labels have kept many great albums on their shelves for no profound reasons. Dizziness are here almost after 26 years and as their guitarist, Lars, says, the dream is still there… even after so many years. We will present the album thoroughly in the next days and we will give you the chance to win one copy of this magnificent melodic hard rock “Gem”…

PS3: This month’s editorial is dedicated to the charismatic soprano Nicole Bogner who left so suddenly and early. May she Rest in Peace…
