Legendary New Jersey thrashers Overkill will unleash their 19th studio record, “The Wings of War”, on February 22nd, 2019, via Nuclear Blast.

Legendary New Jersey thrashers Overkill are pleased to announce a UK and European tour for March 2019, in support of their upcoming, as untitled new studio album.

Overkill will be joining forces with the German cult thrash metal band and label mates Destruction, legendary thrashers Flotsam And Jetsam and up and coming Australian thrash squad Meshiaak for the “KillFest Tour 2019”. Their run will also include a performance at Hammerfest XI which will take place at Pwllheli in North Wales.

On February 9th, 2018, symphonic metal pioneers Therion will finally release Christofer Johnsson's monumental brainchild, “Beloved Antichrist”, a sweeping rock opera loosely inspired by Vladimir Soloviov’s “A Short Tale of the Antichrist”.

The entire piece reaches an impressive length of 3 hours. The dramatic and epic opus comes to life through 27 different character roles, performed by long-time band members like Thomas Vikstrom, Lori Lewis and Chiara Malvestiti, amongst many others.

When 15 year old prodigy Christofer Johnsson founded Therion as a death metal band in 1987, little did he know that exactly 30 years later he would put the final touches to a project that will go down in history as symphonic metal’s most ambitious release.
