Steve Hackett announces October 2018 UK Tour

Following last year's sell-out Genesis Revisited tour, prog icon and former Genesis guitarist, Steve Hackett, announces a 6-date UK tour in October 2018.

Treating fans to many favourite Genesis and Hackett numbers, this time Steve and his band will be accompanied by a 41-piece orchestra.

The decision to undertake this tour was cemented following the critical success of last year's one-off US performance of the Genesis Revisited music with his band and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by the charismatic Bradley Thachuk.

Wobbler - From Silence to Somewhere

Wobbler is a Norweigian band that’s been around for quite a while. Being picked up by Karisma, they now do get some serious distribution and advertising and as a result, they are heralded now, as the best thing since sliced bread. Truth be spoken, they are not bad; if your cup of tea is the super proggy era of Yes, (while ELP and King Crimson also could be considered as influences along with Gentle Giant) and maybe a small splash of the Italian more “soundtrack” oriented school in places... make up their musical canvas.

PFM signs worldwide deal with InsideOut Music and announces new album “Emotional Tattoos”

PFM (Premiata Forneria Marconi), the most famous Italian rock band in the world and InsideOut Music are proud to announce their partnership to release the band's upcoming albums worldwide!

PFM began writing their new opus, entitled “Emotional Tattoos”, in 2016, started recording in early 2017 and are about to finalize it in July! The worldwide release is currently planned for late October.

Drummer and singer Franz Di Cioccio commented: “We are delighted to be a part of the InsideOut Music family! We have created a powerful record that will bring the sound and creative energy of PFM all over the world”.

Hi Ben and welcome to Grande Rock. First of all, do tell us… how and when did the idea of making music occur and why did you finally decide to go under your own name?

B: I was always interested in making music and recording. Apparently I could operate a cassette recorder before I could talk. But I was also interested in the bigger sonic picture, so not having access to an expensive studio as a kid was a bit of a bummer. The moment that all changed was when I discovered 4-track MOD files on the IBM PC in the early 1990s. Anyone remember those? Being able to control every little detail on each track using instrument samples was so much fun. I was hooked.

Legendary vocalist & songwriter Greg Lake dies at the age of 69

Legendary Greg Lake sadly passed away on December 7th, 2016.

As a founding member of King Crimson and Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Greg Lake has been a major force in music for over 40 years. He has long been considered a legendary voice and musical powerhouse whose impact changed the landscape of rock and roll. Many simply refer to him as “The Voice”.

Greg was just finishing his autobiography titled “Lucky Man", which is scheduled for release in 2017.

Ben Craven - Last Chance to Hear

For those who are not aware of Ben Craven, I should say that he’s a gifted multi-instrumentalist & composer from Australia that has been around since 2005. “Last Chance to Hear” is his latest work that is lightly inspired by the end of the music industry as we knew it, in Ben’s own words. What does that mean, huh?! Well, Ben hit the spot by explaining that “there’s never been a time when so much new music was being made by so many people and being listened to by so few people. The concept of paying for new music is now alien to a lot of the audience. Digital downloads have made physical media virtually obsolete”. Weird, sad but so friggin true.
