Alkymist announces Fall & Winter 2020 Danish Tour

Copenhagen based progressive doom metal combo Alkymist released their sophomore album “Sanctuary” on May 1st amidst pandemic chaos and lockdown nationally and abroad.

The band’s release shows were cancelled, but nonetheless “Sanctuary” has received massive attention. The record achieved a #3 in the Official Danish vinyl charts in the week of release.

Rage Of Samedi to release new studio album “Blood Ritual” on January 17th 2020

Raw, raging and larger than life riffs, deeply influenced by the Classic Doom of the 70s and early 80s to the modern Sludge scene, German- based Rage Of Samedi have announced the release of their third album.

Alkymist releases second single “Djinn”

This coming Friday October 5th, progressive doom metal combo Alkymist will release its self titled debut album via Indisciplinarian.

Following the first single and video “Ghost”, the almost ten minutes long and psychedelically disturbing piece “Djinn” is now released as the second single from the forthcoming album.

Cave Bastard to release debut full-length album “The Bleak Shall Devour the Earth” on March 23rd 2018

Underground extreme metal trio Mammoth Grinder return after five long years with their fourth full-length “Cosmic Crypt”, a non-stop, meteoric force of aggression and mayhem.

Self-recorded by the band at Trax East in South River, NJ, mixed by Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Sepultura, Inquisition) and mastered by Toxic Holocaust’s Joel Grind, “Cosmic Crypt” is an 11 track slab of primitive, punk-inflected death metal.

Hooded Menace announces new bassist Antti Poutanen and new drummer Otso Ukkonen

Hooded Menace are announcing changes in their line-up in advance of their next studio album, which will be released via Season of Mist early in 2018.

Bassist Markus Makkonen will now be fully replaced by Antti Poutanen from Church Of The Dead and Devenial Verdict.

Furthermore Krypts drummer Otso Ukkonen takes over from Pekka Koskelo, who has already recorded all tracks for the forthcoming full-length.

Mammoth Grinder signs to Relapse Records & announces new album “Cosmic Crypt”

Relapse Records is proud to announce the signing of genre-bashing Texan trio Mammoth Grinder.

Formed in 2006 in Austin, TX, and consisting of members of Power Trip and Iron Reagan, Mammoth Grinder combine primitive, punk-inflected death metal with the most manic elements of hardcore, crust and grindcore.

The band has released three full-lengths and numerous splits and EPs since forming over a decade ago. After a brief hiatus in 2014, Mammoth Grinder have returned and entered the studio earlier this week to record their fourth full-length album. Entitled “Cosmic Crypt”, the new album will consist of 11 tracks recorded to analog / tape at Trax East in South River, NJ.
