Tooth And Claw to release debut full-length album “Dream of Ascension” on May 21st 2021

Metallic hardcore band Tooth and Claw announced the impending release debut full-length, titled “Dream of Ascension” on May 21st, 2021, via Good Fight Music. The group also shared the scathing lead single “Your Crucifixion” and the accompanying music video can be seen below.

Meka Nism - The War Inside

Orlando based heavy metal band Meka Nism has finally released their latest EP entitled “The War Inside” on May 10th, 2018. As with their other releases, it is more than just a collection of great songs, they have something to say. “The War Inside” isn’t just a catchy metal name; it refers to the struggles that everyone faces in their lives.

Meka Nism live in Florida 2018

Meka Nism is a five-person band made up of Bobby Keller the lead guitarist, Chris Lane on drums, Jay Adkisson the keyboardist, bassist Jarret Robinson, and Ms. Meka the vocalist. This heavy metal band from Orlando has started to build a reputation that has grown beyond their hometown. As I made my way towards the stage I was able to briefly say hi to Ms. Meka. She was striking in her stage outfit, face paint and red dreadlocks. After our brief hi, I was very excited to see what the buzz was all about.

Meka Nism announce May/June 2018 Florida Live Dates

Inspired by Metallica, Joan Jett, Iron Maiden, Slayer, and Ghost, Meka Nism’s sound is powerful, metallic, aggressive, melodic, and in your face.

They are a band that fires on all cylinders and with the most charismatic front-woman “Meka”; they have supported legends like Mastodon, Gojira, The Offspring, Limp Bizkit, Otep and In Flames.

Preparing for the release of their new EP “The War Inside” on May 11th, 2018, the Orlando based band announces they will be performing a series of Florida show dates in May and June, which includes being local opening support for Jonathan Davis (Korn) plus hosting a local EP listening party at Park Ave CDs.

Malrun - Two Thrones

Right before the release of their third full-length album, Malrun came across a major issue. Their vocalist Jacob Loebner – with his “trademark harsh/clean vocals” – is no longer part of the band. That’s certainly a thorny issue for the band. The official statement was “incompatible differences” – whatever that may mean! Anyhow the band has a specific plan to follow, so they moved on rapidly and announced their new vocalist Nicklas Sonne. I do not know how this album would have been with Nicklas on vocals but it would definitely have been somehow different from this one in a way.
