Hyperia to release new studio album “Silhouettes of Horror” on March 18th 2022

Canadian thrashers Hyperia, formerly of Calgary, AB, now residing in Vancouver, BC announce they will be self-releasing their new album “Silhouettes of Horror” this coming March 2022. The full-length follows their 2020’s “Insanitorium” unleashed via Sliptrick Records and their 2019 EP “Fish Creek Frenzy”.

Megadeth announces James LoMenzo as touring bassist for the upcoming Metal Tour Of The Year

In just 9 days, the Metal Tour Of The Year co-headlined by Megadeth and Lamb Of God will lay waste to cities across North America as the highly anticipated trek finally hits the road. Megadeth have today announced that joining them to take care of bass duties for this tour will be former Megadeth member, James LoMenzo.

Megadeth part ways with bassist and co-founder David Ellefson

Megadeth have official parted ways (once again) with bassist and co-founder David Ellefson, after he was accused of sexual misconduct. The whole thing came out on May 10th, 2021, and it has taken too much publicity till now, even though the accusations were denied from both parties.

David has also parted ways with Megadeth back in 2002, after a serious incident that he and Mustaine had due to royalties and copyright issues.

Megadeth and Lamb Of God reschedule 2020 North American Tour to Summer & Fall 2021

It’s time. Megadeth and Lamb Of God cannot be stopped and today announced the rescheduled run of the Metal Tour of the Year. Reject The Sickness to release new studio album “The Weight of Silence” on May 28th 2021

Emissary reform after 25 years and working on new album

Southern Oregon melodic thrashers Emissary have reformed after a 25-year hiatus to record a new album for Germany’s Underground Power Records, to be released on CD and vinyl later this year.
