Bonfire Nights share new single “Heart’s to Blame” and announce new live dates for 2016

On October 21st, London-based psych-rock quintet Bonfire Nights release their thunderous debut album, “Entopica Phenomica”. Nine tracks of groove-laden stoner jams, shimmering guitars, and the boy-girl vocal harmonies and pop hooks that set the band apart from many of their contemporaries.

Bonfire Nights to release debut album “Entopica Phenomica” on October 21st 2016

London-based psych-rock quintet Bonfire Nights have released their soaring new single, “Easy Touch”, a precursor to their debut album out via Holy Beatnik Records. Out August 19th, the track is a fine representation of the upcoming record, with ethereal soundscapes that pour over powerful drums and infectious vocal melodies.

After working in secrecy for some months Iggy Pop, an iconic performer & musician, is back with his 17th studio album, entitled “Post Pop Depression”. This time Iggy worked along with producer & guitarist Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age, Eagles Of Death Metal) and they both wrote and financed this album. Moreover, Josh produced the album, Dean Fertita (Queens Of The Stone Age) played the guitar and keyboards and Matt Helders (Arctic Monkeys) the drums.

This power-trio from the Netherlands has been around 5 years now and released a self-titled EP in 2010 and two vinyl 7” in 2011. It was about time they released their debut full-length album and here it is. This album gets the credit for the biggest title of the year! See for yourself: “The Hottest Places in Hell are Reserved for Those Who in Times of Great Moral Crisis Maintain Their Neutrality”! Implausible, huh?!!
 

Vietcong Pornsürfers - New single out & Tour

Vietcong Pornsurfers consists of four boys from Falun, Sweden. They have been playing dangerous punk rock since the fall of 2007. The band was started simply to make up for the lack of true cool rock bands, and too many old “long gone past the best before date” acts. Since the start, three demo discs has been spread to all corners of the known world and in 2010 they released their debut album, “Restless, Young, Hungry and Free”, on cassette tape (!?). The album received a lot of attention due to its outdated physical appearance, and in the spring 2011 the Italian label Street Symphonies released the album on CD.

It all started from an idea between the two basic and original members, Mikki (bass & vocals) and Cioxxx (drums) back in 2005. After several line-up changes, they settled down and Mikki finally took over the vocals as well. What they wanted to do was to play rock & roll with a little bit of garage & punk music without any compromises. Adding elements from The Hellacopters, Gluecifer, Imperial State Electric (mostly), Backyard Babies, Hardcore Superstar, Hanoi Rocks and so on... they started writing their own tunes. With lyrics talking about sex, fun, good time, drugs & girls you can’t bypass the fact that those youngsters wanna party all day long.
