Finnish death metallers Torchia have just inked a record deal with Rockshots Records for the release of their sophomore album “The Coven”, coming out on March 27th, 2020.

Arising from the inner darkness of composer and lyricist Ville Riitamaa, Torchia takes inspiration from a multitude of metal subgenres and their mission is to revitalize the genre of melodic death metal by bringing in a sense of danger and unpredictability.

The world’s biggest metal label, Nuclear Blast, has signed Finnish industrial metal stars Turmion Kätilöt.

The Germany based record label will release the group’s next album which was quietly recorded during the last couple of months. The record, entitled “Global Warning”, will be released on April 17th, 2020, and according to the band it sounds “f*cking great”.

Last month, the Helsinki Vampires The 69 Eyes released their 30-year-anniversary album “West End”, and immediately hit #1 in the Finnish charts. Helsinki Vampires, The 69 Eyes, are proud to announce their Hell Has No Mercy 2020 U.S.Tour. Kicking off on January 15th at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, the 24 date trek will make stops in Chicago, West Hollywood and Richmond before concluding at Reverb in Reading, PA on February 22nd.
