Author & Punisher to release new studio album “Krüller” on February 11th 2022

Author & Punisher, the alias for visionary San Diego musician-meets-mechanical engineer Tristan Shone, returns with the melody-laden new album, “Krüller” (Feb. 11τη, 2022, ωια Relapse Records), featuring a suite of upgraded machines, a distilled vocal process and a handful of guest players including Tool’s Danny Carey and Justin Chancellor.

Urferd to release debut album “Resan” on April 15th 2022

Black Lodge Records present their new signing Urferd. The ambient nordic folk music project from Daniel Beckman, the man behind Twilight Force and Ages. The debut album goes under the name “Resan” and will see the light of day on April 15th, 2022.

Big|Brave announces Spring 2022 European & UK Tour

Big|Brave are pleased to announce European tour dates in April and May 2022 in support of their latest album, “Vital” out now on Southern Lord. Dates and details below.

Leila Abdul-Rauf to release new studio album “Phantasiai” on July 16th 2021

Oakland-based artist Leila Abdul-Rauf will release her fourth full-length solo album, “Phantasiai”, in July through Cyclic Law, with a vinyl release to follow in September as a co-release with Cloister Recordings. The cover art, track listing, preorders, two tracks from the album, and more have been issued.
 

Big|Brave to release new studio album “Vital” on April 23rd 2021

Minimalism and instinct, structure/freedom and meticulous timing form the cornerstones of Big|Brave’s precise, rhythmical sound.

Lyrically, the new album “Vital” explores the weight of race and gender, endurance and navigating other people’s behaviours, observation and protest. The band further commented “this album involves what it means navigating the outside world in a racialized body and what it does to the psyche as a whole while exploring individual worth within this reality”.
 

San Leo to release new studio album “Mantracore” on November 13th 2020

Italian experimental fusionists, San Leo, have revealed the details about their upcoming, fourth album, titled “Mantracore”. Slated for a release on November 13th, 2020, via Bronson Recordings, “Mantracore” will see the duo - who is exploring all kinds of various music elements, from kraut-rock, psychedelic folk, free-form post-rock, obscure metal, electronica and ambient sounds - to channel all their energy and vision to a whole new level.

The Oracle to release debut full-length debut “Hypogeum” on August 14th 2020

Worcester, Massachusetts-based avant electronics project The Oracle will release its debut full-length debut “Hypogeum” this August, via Repose Records.
 
Inspired at once by the grandiosity of film scores and classical music, the bleakness of black metal, and minimalist ambient music, “Hypogeum” is dark and at times ritualistic with its themes and complimentary visuals touching upon the rise and fall of messiah-like figures and cult leaders.
