Stirring the internet recently with mysterious cassette tapes posted across their socials, Decapitated put an end to the speculation today - on June 4th, 2021, the Polish tech death metal virtuosos will release their early demos in a carefully handpicked collection called “The First Damned”.

Extreme metal icons Venom announce “Sons of Satan” – a collection of early demo material recorded between 1979-1984 to be released on August 28th, 2020, via BMG.

Sweden’s melodic, progressive death/doom metal band In Mourning will release a collection of their early demo recordings titled “Echoes” on August 14th, 2020, via Agonia Records.

Rongeur to release “The Catastrophist & As the Blind Strive” demos on CD on April 9th 2015

Oslo-based stoner/sludge trio Rongeur are set to release their “The Catastrophist & As the Blind Strive” demo recordings, previously available on cassette via Aonair Productions, on CD on April 9th, 2015 through Disiplin Media (Timeworn, Hombre Malo, Deviated Instinct, Summon the Crows, etc...)

A collection of seven harsh and heavy tunes full of crushing riffs and downtempo grooves that reference equal parts Eyehategod, Neurosis and Kylesa, “The Catastrophist & As the Blind Strive Demos” were produced by Pål Arntzen, Audun G. Jakobsen and Rongeur between 2013 and 2014.

This is some piece of news that CYNIC fans have been dying to read for years: the famous, much sought-after Portal demos will finally be released officially! 17 years after, CYNIC masterminds Paul Masvidal and Sean Reinert decided to share the 10 songs they recorded as Portal with guitarist Jason Gobel, bassist Chris Kringel and female vocalist Aruna Abrams on a worldwide scale.
