Whitesnake - Live in 1984 - Back to the Bone

It’s beyond sad to think that half of the guys, that made some of this incredible music back in the day with the good old Cov, Cozy Powell, Mel Galley & Jon Lord, are no longer with us. Great, gifted musicians and rock icons one and all. Alongside John Sykes and Neil Murray, these gentlemen might have not conquered Whitesnake’s hairy “1987” peak, but they most certainly laid the foundations for some of the hottest, horniest and best songs of the bands career, which were written during that time.

Stratovarius - “Nemesis” plus documentary DVD on May 2nd 2014

There is no other word than "magic" to explain what inspire an artist to create and one great song after the other, and to find the inspiration to fix on a record more than a special moment in each and every of songs. It happens very rarely nowadays, especially in metal and especially for bands with so many albums in their discography to be compared to.

"Nemesis" is the album that brought the mysterious magic in Stratovarius’ life. The album blew everyone away and set the beginning of another start in the long history of the Finnish band.
