Ihsahn - Das Seelenbrechen

About a year after “Eremita”, Ihsahn is back with his fifth solo work which is entitled “Das Seelenbrechen”. The blending of rock, atmospheric, avant-garde, black, extreme, melodic, hard, metal & progressive music still continues on this album.
 
Ihsahn has also got his beloved wife Ihriel (Star of Ash) on vocals by his side and Tobias Ørnes Andersen (Leprous) on drums. The mixing & mastering has once again been done by the renowned Jens Bogren (Opeth, Amon Amarth, Katatonia, Dark Tranquillity, Enslaved tec.). Needless to say, the final result is superb.
 

Onheil - “Storm is Coming” cover art & tracklist revealed

Dutch Blackened Metallers ONHEIL have released the cover and tracklist of their upcoming album, “Storm is Coming”. It's the follow-up to their critically acclaimed album “Razor” (2009). The album is currently being mixed and mastered by Bart Hennephof (TEXTURES) and Yuma van Eekelen (Ex-PESTILENCE) at the Final Focus Studios. The release is set for early 2014 by German Metal specialist Cyclone Empire.

Vattnet Viskar set to release Sky Swallower in September

After releasing their self-titled EP last year to critical acclaim, New Hampshire's VATTNET VISKAR is now ready to unleash their debut full-length album, "Sky Swallower", this fall via Century Media Records. Due out September 9rth in Europe, "Sky Swallower" was recorded at Universal Noise Storage with producer Brett Boland at the helm and features eight tracks of crushingly ambient, blackened doom metal. Already leaving a media buzz in its wake, "Sky Swallower" promises to earn the quartet "album of the year" accolades once again.
 

Witches Mark - Witching Metal Ritual on July 15th 2013

WITCHES MARK the self-professed 'Bringers Of Heavy Metal Death' hailing from Austin, Texas have completed work on the "Witching Metal Ritual" full-length, due to be released through Heaven and Hell Records on July 15th, 2013.
 
Witching Metal Ritual features eight tracks of uncompromising metal glory blending elements of thrash, speed, doom, black, and death while anchoring their overall sound firmly within the framework of traditional heavy metal.

Majalis signs with Pulverised Records

With this project group suspended for several years and ultimately resurrected by the group's pivotal figures Tobias Netzell and Björn Pettersson, also of In Mourning fame; MAJALIS is now ready to take the first leap forward and introduce the band's debut EP to the unsuspecting world of mournful harmonious scorn.
 
In an official press statement from MAJALIS six-stringer Björn Pettersson: "We are happy and proud to be able to work with Pulverised for our debut EP. Some of us have been working together before and it feels like both us and the Pulverised guys are pretty stoked about this project, so we have no doubts that this will be a good collaboration.
