Swedish visionary metallers SOILWORK will hit Australia in October to present their most recent effort, "The Living Infinite", live.

 

"The Living Infinite" marks not only the 9th studio album by one of the most important and influential bands in melodic death metal, it also is the first double album in the genre's history and received raving reviews worldwide.

 

Nick Calpakdjian from Animus Industries has announced the start of the fundraising campaign for the first film to fully document the history of heavy metal music in Australia : “METAL DOWN UNDER”!

 

Animus Industries is producing a feature length documentary about the history of Heavy Metal music in Australia. The film will trace the origins of metal in Australia and explore this ever-evolving genre of extreme music.

 

The band credited with creating heavy metal and one of the most influential bands of all time - today announced their widely rumored and highly anticipated reunion for their first Australian shows in nearly 40 years.

 

Original band members – the Prince of Darkness himself: Ozzy Osbourne, bassist Geezer Butler and guitarist Tony Iommi will make a thunderous return to Australia in April 2013 for arena shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, in their first Aussie shows since 1974.
