Hailing from the cold, unforgiving wastelands of Hollywood, California, Ashen Horde is a two-piece band that strives to embrace a multitude of extreme metal sub-genres, without being bound to any one of them. Drawing influence from metal’s crème de le extreme, from Enslaved and Devin Townsend to Ihsahn and Opeth, Ashen Horde (aka Trevor Portz and Stevie Boiser [Vale of Phath, Inferi]), may have a sound rooted in death and black metal, but can’t truly be called either.

Morild to release debut album “Så kom mørket...” on February 1st 2019

Katechon to release new studio album “Sanger Fra Auschwitz” on March 1st 2019

Katechon has already found a notable place in the underground upon churning out two albums. Trondheim, Norway based black/death metallers are now ready to take the wraps of their forthcoming third opus, “Sanger Fra Auschwitz”.

The album is anti-totalitarian in form and a view into the events of the second world war and how it affected the people on both sides.

Chronoform release music video for first single “Veil”

“Veil” is the first single from Chronoform’s next year’s debut album “From the Void”. And it’s actually the first track the band has ever composed.

Tight and versatile riffs combined with more delicate parts works also as a single as it gives a good cross-section to the material the band is soon to be releasing.

Equipoise to release debut full-length album “Demiurgus” on March 8th 2019

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based technical/progressive death metal project Equipoise is proud to officially announce the upcoming release of their debut full-length, “Demiurgus”. The album is set for release on March 8th, 2019, through The Artisan Era.

Remaining old school, there are no clean vocals or breakdowns here, just a solid and mature death/thrash metal album, with good flow and clear thought in the tracks and compositions.
