Sunlight is a Greek rock/metal band, with melodic sensitivities, lots of keyboards and an average, rather flat production, which isn’t bad, but is rather weak, however maintaining a charm. They seem to be unable to choose, between a somewhat lyrical metal with higher pitch vocals, with the singer tending however to sound better when he keeps in lower octaves. There’s a strong Greece accent in the vowels, that is not nice but overall the guy singing, isn’t all that bad. The guitars fail to excite when they play riffs, most of the times, buried under a sea of keyboards, and only when they start playing lead themes or during intros do they become audible.

In a way they do remind me of some bands from yesteryear, which they did produce decent enough demos, but failed to take the next step, due to a variety of reasons. This is in reality, a very polished demo, that’s far from bad, but if the band became more crystallized towards a certain style and did a better mastering, it would really help them. Average to good, since they seem to have certain good ideas, but don’t manage to really present them in the best possible way, but showing a good deal of promise.
