Stone Broken is a newcomer from Walsall, UK, formed in 2013. The band self-released their debut EP, “The Crow Flies”, in 2014. Almost 2 years after the release of their debut EP, the band is back with their debut full-length album titled “All in Time”.

The debut album features 5 tracks from the “The Crow Flies” EP and 5 new tracks: “You Know Your Enemy”, “Be There”, “Wait for You”, “Save Tomorrow” and “Stay All Night”. All the tracks were produced and fully re-mastered by Romesh Dodangoda (Motorhead, Bring Me The Horizon, Bullet For My Valentine). The guys had in mind to record a second EP but after they heard the results of both sessions, they decided to put out a single album, which would feature all the tracks together. It’s true that Romesh has done an excellent job, as all the tracks seemed like they have been recorded at the same time period. Moreover, the production is fresh, powerful & modern.

Stone Broken’s music style can be defined as hard rock with various modern rock, alternative rock, post-grunge & southern rock elements. Bands such as Black Stone Cherry, Nickelback, Shinedown, Alter Bridge & Theory Of A Deadman may come to mind while listening to “All in Time”, but the truth is that Stone Broken do not sound popish or cheesy as some of the abovementioned acts do from time to time. Wish they keep it that way. Also Rich’s raspy voice is another trademark for the band apart from their catchy hooks and the rockin’ guitars. I bet that these are some guys in their early 30s but these youngsters sound amazingly musically-mature for their age!

Stone Broken have made a great entrance on the music scene with “All in Time”. They surely have a long way to go in order to become successful but they have the talent to make it at long last. They know how to play the game and all they’ve got to do is not be carried away by the “people of the music industry” that will try to take advantage of them along the way. They need to stay focused on their target and avoid the “sirens” that will try to seduce them with several “tricky ways”. The fact that they are so young is both a curse & a blessing. All things considered, “All in Time” is a fabulous modern hard rock album, which should be checked by all the fans of the genre…
