“Live at the Union Chapel” is the second live DVD release of Renaissance, after 2011’s “Live in Concert Tour 2011”. The show was filmed at The Union Chapel in London UK on April 16, 2015 by Paul Green Productions, with lighting by Russell ‘Tigger’ Matthews. The video quality is in HD and the visual part is way better than the first live DVD. The new DVD also includes LPCM Stereo, which was mixed by Rave Tesar, and Dolby Digital surround soundtracks. The cameras and the amazing lighting make the whole outcome very captivating.

The audio part is superb as well. You can listen to a digital version of the DVD. Even though the enjoyment will not be as enjoyable as watching the DVD, I can say that the digital (MP3, FLAC, ALAC) version of “Live at the Union Chapel” is pleasurable too. You see, the performances are all wonderful and Annie Haslam proves, once again, how gifted a vocalist & performer she is.

Surely, the loyal fans of the band will go for the signed DVD, but I can tell you that the retail (unsigned) one is still great to own as it includes unlimited streaming of” Live at The Union Chapel” via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more. If you fancy and follow Renaissance all these years, then you know that they only deliver quality music works, which appeal to their fans largely. “Live at the Union Chapel” is no exception to that…
