Fraze Gang

Back after 6 years… this Canadian rockin’ band talks when they feel it’s necessary & when they’ve got something to say. They never followed any trends neither tried to copy any successful old bands in order to pretend being “the” Rock Stars as the most bands of our time.
Fraze Gang are true to melodic hard rockin’ music. They’ve taken Brighton Rock’s (Greg & Stevie) background and embellished it with features from Priest, Rainbow, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, AC/DC and so on… presenting their own old-fashioned but not retro… fresh but not modern, rockin’ but not gay-rock… mix of how late80s/early90s hard rock music can actually be nowadays. Excessive guitar work, nice melodies, powerful rhythm section… and a genuine rock energy that’s not being met easily in our time. The renowned producer Beau Hill (Ratt, Alice Cooper, Europe, Winger etc.) made the album sound potent, tight, heavy and energetic… he’s done a great job indeed. The cover on the classic “I Just Wanna Make Love to You” by Etta James is very tasteful as well.
Let’s hope it won’t take them another 6 years to release a new album this time. I know that most of the labels - especially the big ones - do not fancy this kind of bands as much as they like the copycats that are tryin’ to sound like Fraze Gang or other genuine hard rock groups. We do not mind… as long as we support these artists they’ve got nothing to fear and they will always feel like making good rockin’ music. A step forward from their debut… Fraze Gang are rockin’ free bringing the old good days on mind… catch them live on stage (when you’ve got the chance) ‘cuz I’m quite sure that you will be stunned by their rockin’ power and energy…
