Eversin
Trinity: The Annihilation

Eversin is a quite bizarre band from Italy that seems to be bringing together Slayer, Death Angel and Forbidden as influences with slight hints of Ministry in a technical thrash compendium with a very overdriven and uber compressed production that makes their aural assault quite fatiguing to ones ears. They have Helstar’s James Rivera and Glen Alvelais from Forbidden and Testament as guests on the album.
“Fire Walk With Me” (twin picks fans?) has Rivera almost going for paranoiac screams that almost border on black metal and create an interesting collage, along with Angelo Ferrantes throat ripping yells. Other noteworthy tunes include the hardhitting “Chaosborn”, “Crown of Nails” and “Litanies of War”. Overall noisy and carnivorous, this sounds like a more punked up and under produced Slayer offspring rehearsing in Angelrippers basement. Not horrible but I would not lose my head over them either.
