Domadora is a French band that just released their sophomore effort. Their style is influenced by 70s Psych Rock with tinger of mid Ozzy era Sabbath, long winded instrumental jams that also have something remotely Zeppelinesque about them and an overall, on purpose retro production.

They will appeal to fans of bands like Fatso Jetson or Karma To Burn but also Pentagram and Baroness as well. While, the’re not “bad” as surprisingly none of the “French” stoned bands are, these guys tend to be a bit too minimalist for my liking, a bit too simple as a song can go on based on a single good riff and some improv solo with an incidental vocal disturbing the homogeneity before if just fades back to oblivion. Just too plain for their own good.
