Rising out of Richmond, Virginia, alternative rock band Telltale has formally joined the ranks of roster at burgeoning independent label SharpTone Records. Blending influences of rock and pop-punk, the four-piece has made a name for themselves throughout the region with a captivating sound and impassioned live performances.
Today, the band has revealed plans to release their 2nd EP, “Timeless Youth”, on April 26th, 2019, and are giving fans a first listen of what’s to come with the premiere of a video for the title track from the record.

Says vocalist John Carter:
“"Timeless Youth", at its most basic level is about growing up. The ugly truth is that "adulthood" is a state of mind, a state of complacency if you will. Growing into your late teens and early twenties, you lose a lot of friends in more ways than one. You take blame for mistakes that aren’t yours and you forget what it’s like to know the freedom of naivety. "Timeless Youth" is about retaining a sense of wanderlust, even when you feel confined to a certain path”.
Formed in 2017, Telltale released their debut single “Atlas” following their inception and began playing shows across the state and regionally. In the spring of 2017, the band recorded their debut EP “Good Intentions”, which caught the attention of SharpTone Records.
Comments guitarist Bryce Marshall:
“Since we’re releasing an album that’s about growing up, it’s humbling to be on a label with so many bands that we grew up listening to. When we started talking to SharpTone, the first question someone asked was, "Isn’t this the same label We Came As Romans is signed to"? We were floored to be asked to join such an incredible family. That’s really what SharpTone is and has become to us”.
Tracklist:
1. Timeless Youth
2. Bouquet
3. What We Live For
4. Letting Go
5. Dazy
6. Rose
7. Hereditary
Line-up:
John Carter - Vocals
Bryce Marshall -Guitar
Tim Fogg - Bass
Travis Slack - Drums
