London and Kent-based post-punk trio, Dancehall, return with their latest single “Droners”, so named due to the track featuring a single guitar note, effected with tape delays, buzzing through the entirety of the song.

Recorded live at Sound Savers by Mark Jasper (Dream Nails, Sauna Youth, Primitive Parts, Slowcoaches) to the band's three-take rule, the song is a sonic departure from previous releases, which showcased the band's sharp & serrated take on post-punk.
“Droners” takes the band's output down a more shoegaze-route, whilst sticking to their ethos of simple but effective songwriting and paying tribute to the aggression and ambiguity of My Bloody Valentine and The Jesus & Mary Chain.
Lyrically, singer Tim (ex-Kill Kenada), says the track is about “the torture of being in love and all the fear, self-doubt and anxiety one goes through on the journey of companionship, lust, passion and the uncertainty when you place your life in the hands of another”.
“Droners” serves as an indication of what's to come with their upcoming LP due in June 2018 on the band's own, Vibe-Anti Vibe label following praise from Wonderland, Clash Magazine, Dork Magazine and airplay from BBC 6 Music's Steve Lamacq & Radio X's John Kennedy.
