Out of the Dark and Into the Light...

GR logoPeople are trying to get their previous life back with whatever cost. They are even willing to sacrifice their future just for a few okay moments and they do not seem to think about tomorrow like they used to do.

On the contrary, you see all the bands making big plans and announcing tour dates for one or two years from now. Most of the 2021 dates have been postponed and they have been rescheduled for 2022 or even 2023! It seems that they were waiting 2021 to be okay for touring, but it doesn’t seem to be so… even though many bands are touring as we speak.

I think that the small venues are better for the time being and the smaller bands can more easily tour than the big ones that need bigger venues for their crowd. Moreover all those health protocols to attend a live show have really tired people on the whole. Photographers for instance do not get passes as they used to do and most shows are being covered by a few ones that have made deals with either the venue owner or the band.

I’m just giving you a hint that things are not going to be like they used to be, even though the previous things weren’t so wonderful like some seem to believe. Things have changed irreversibly and there’s no turning back any longer. We’re getting closer… much closer to a solution… soon things will change once and for all. For some it will be for the better and for others for the worst… just make the right choices, it’s up to you now!

PS1: Tomorrow is now and now is already the past… so act wisely!

PS2: Happy Halloween Everyone!!!

PS3: This month’s editorial is dedicated to the great vocalist & songwriter Mike Howe (Heretic, Metal Church), who passed away, a couple of months ago, at the age of 55. Mike was also a great person and he had so much more to offer to our beloved metal music. Thx for the music Mike… Rest In Peace…
