Amorphis to release new 7-inch “On the Dark Waters” on January 28th 2022

Northern metal giants Amorphis recently released “The Moon”, a beautifully haunting first taste of their forthcoming album “Halo”, set for release on February 11th, 2022, via Atomic Fire Records. To shorten the wait until the arrival of their second single, “On the Dark Waters” (out on January 28th, 2022), the band has announced a limited 7" blue/white vinyl single of the same name, due out on the same day.

Death Of A Dryad - Hameln

Death Of A Dryad returns with their sophomore full-length release almost 7 years after the self-titled debut. In 2016 they also released the “Blight” EP. The French duo, which consists of vocalist & guitarist Nogh and bassist & flutist Carol, have come up with a new release which combines many elements from various genres and has a dark yet mysterious atmosphere as a whole.

While concerts and cheering crowds seem to be a long lost echo from the past these days, melancholic progressive metallers Amorphis bring back some of the life and uncomparable energy that many of us have been missing so desperately. Recorded during a special hometown show that took place on December 7th, 2019, little did the Finns know that this would be one of their last concerts before the pandemic outbreak in early 2020.

Marianas Rest to release new studio album “Fata Morgana” on March 12th 2021

Emerging from the Finnish coastal town of Kotka, melodic death/doom metal strikers Marianas Rest will unleash their third studio album, “Fata Morgana”, on March 12th, 2021, via Napalm Records.

In anticipation, they have just unveiled the first single from the album, entitled “Glow from the Edge”, along with a moving official video.
