Forgotten Tomb to release new studio album “Nihilistic Estrangement” on May 8th 2020

Italian black/doom metal band Forgotten Tomb will release a new studio album titled “Nihilistic Estrangement” on May 8th, 2020, via Agonia Records.

This will be the band’s tenth full-length album and follow up to “We Owe You Nothing” from three years ago. 

The album’s cover artwork is a painting, specifically drawn for this release by artist Paolo Girardi (Power Trip, Bell Witch, Inquisition). It complements the misanthropic and introvert nature of music and lyrics alike.

“We Owe You Nothing”, the ninth studio album from Italian black/doom metal overlords Forgotten Tomb, is set to be released on October 27th, 2017, in Europe and November 10th, 2017, in North America via Agonia Records.

“Hurt Yourself and the Ones You Love” is the title of the new album by Italy's notorious purveyors of black/doom metal, Forgotten Tomb. The band's highly anticipated 8th studio opus is scheduled for release via Agonia Records, on April 17th in Europe and April 21st, 2015 in North America.

Ghost Brigade to release “IV - One With the Storm” on November 7th 2014

Critically acclaimed Finnish heavy-rock act Ghost Brigade are back! The band just announced the title of their forthcoming album, which is “IV - One With the Storm”. 
 
Ghost Brigade’s aptly named fourth full-length has been set for a November 7th, 2014 release (November 11th in North America).
 
“IV - One With the Storm” will be available in various formats, including a collector’s edition. Pre-orders will start on the Season of Mist e-shop in a couple weeks.

Blackened doom metallers, Forgotten Tomb, release a live music video for the song "Shutter". The video comes from band's new DVD, "Darkness in Stereo: Eine Symphonie Des Todes - Live in Germany", which is available now via Agonia Records. The clip can be viewed below.
 
The new DVD features three professionally-shot live shows, filmed during 2012, at: Kings Of Black Metal Festival, Under The Black Sun Festival and club K17 in Berlin (Germany). Cover artwork of the release has been drawn by comic artist Mariano De Biase.

At long last, Season of Mist is thrilled to welcome extreme metal lunatics Shining to the roster! Shining is made of mastermind Niklas Kvarforth (vocals, concept, guitars) and his “toolbox”: Rainer Tuomikanto (drums), Christian Larsson (bass), Euge Valovirta (guitar) and Peter Huss (guitar). The Swedes’ forthcoming ninth full-length should hit the stores early 2015.
 

Forgotten Tomb releases the audio album of their upcoming DVD for free

In order to reward the fans for their magnificent support, Italian pioneers of blackened doom metal, Forgotten Tomb, release a free live album recorded during Kings of Black Metal Festival in Germany in 2012.
 
The audio has been professionally mixed and originally comes from Forgotten Tomb's brand new DVD, "Darkness in Stereo: Eine Symphonie Des Todes - Live in Germany" (which additionally offers a full video of the above-mentioned concert as well as excerpts filmed at: Under The Black Sun Festival and K17 Club in Berlin in 2012).
 

Autumn’s Dawn - Self-titled EP out on April 21st 2014

Autumn’s Dawn is a new musical collaboration between two musicians by the names of Sorrow and Anguish. Both having played in numerous bands over the years, the idea for Autumn’s Dawn came about in 2013 while Anguish was playing session live guitar for Sorrow’s solo project.
 
Written and recorded in just a few days in late 2013, this 27 minute long debut EP is a brief, raw and honest take on the genre of depressive black metal, and a mere taste of what is to come from Autumn’s Dawn in the future… 
 

Shining - 8 ½ – Feberdrommar I Vaket Tillstand

Sick! I think this is the most suitable word to describe Shining’s music, if that’s possible! The “perverse” band from Sweden strikes back with a new album which features “old songs”. Well, not so much a new one… but surely the re-recordings of the songs, with new bass, guitars and the addition of synth, have been done carefully. What’s more? You should always expect more from “bizarre” figures like Kvarforth.
