Gost to release new studio album “Rites of Love and Reverence” on August 13th 2021

Gost, the “dark synthwave frontrunner” (Kerrang!), has set an August 13th, 2021, release date for his new album, “Rites of Love and Reverence”, via Century Media Records.

“I have recently been fixated on the subject of witchcraft and its effect on women throughout history”, explains Gost. “I myself practice rituals to help clear my mind and focus on my day to day endeavors. This curiosity into witchcraft’s history and my own traditions combined to inspire the new album”.

GosT signs with Century Media Records and releases lyric video for new single “She Lives in Red Light”

Century Media Records welcomes the mysterious producer known as GosT, who embodies the character of Baalberith on his propulsive synthwave solo project that is channeling his fascination with the occult, John Carpenter and 80s slasher flicks.

As a teenager he played in metal bands, but eventually drifted toward electronic music which would later become the foundation of his powerful synthwave/retrowave sound. With its haunting atmospherics and aesthetics influenced by the blackest corners of the metal world his music quickly garnered GosT a loyal following within the rock and metal community worldwide.
