SuidAkrA to release new studio album “Cimbric Yarns” on November 16th 2018

After 24 years of band history and 12 studio albums SuidAkrA has become a flagship in the Celtic-Metal scene.

During this time they toured around the globe, played any number of shows, mastermind Arkadius Antonik even spent a week on behalf of the German Goethe Institute to support regional musical projects in India and SuidAkrA has been the first metal band ever that performed six shows there.

The Mon shares a memorable sonic exploration with “Her” video

The Mon, the new solo project by Urlo - best known as the lead vocalist, bassist, and synth player in heavy trio Ufomammut - has shared a video from the upcoming debut full-length expected this autumn.
 
The video for The Mon's “Her” is the first one of a series titled “Solve et Coagula" - the formula that the alchemists used to effect the transformation from base metal into gold. It could also be described as a process where something is broken down to its elements, a process which produces energy that compels reconstitution in a purer form. The video for “Her" was created by Lu of Malleus Rock Art Lab.
 

Mike Patton to release “1922” expanded score on July 20th 2018

Mike Patton’s (Faith No More, Dead Cross) expanded score to the Stephen King sourced Netflix film, “1922”, sees a July 20 release via Ipecac Recordings.

The “1922” (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is available for pre-orders, with the collection available digitally and physically on both CD and hardwood colored vinyl, here.

Klaus Schulze to release new studio album “Silhouettes” on May 25th 2018

Following the celebrations of his 70th birthday in August 2017, Klaus Schulze, one of the most important electronic music artists worldwide, has announced the release of his new studio recording “Silhouettes” for May 25th, 2018.

The four pieces “Silhouettes”, “Der lange Blick zurück”, “Quae simplex” and “Châteaux faits de vent”, which he worked on between Summer and Autumn 2017, are just as expansive in terms of playing time and artistic vision as we’ve come to expect from Schulze’s work.

Insect Ark releases new video for “Skin Walker” and announces Spring 2018 European Tour

New York/Portland instrumental duo, Insect Ark, is pleased to unveil the visual accompaniment to the track “Skin Walker”.

The tune comes by way of their “Marrow Hymns” full-length, issued February 23rd via Profound Lore.

The band’s European tour, set to begin next month, will commence at Roadburn. In celebration of their performance, the influential Dutch festival is hosting the “Skin Walker” clip.

W.A.S.P. to release “ReIdolized (The Soundtrack to the Crimson Idol)” on February 2nd 2018

This year marks the 25th anniversary of “The Crimson Idol” - the legendary story of Jonathan Aaron Steele, which was originally intended to be accompanied by a movie, with several hundred hours of film that were shot to create approximately 60 minutes of movie footage.

The album is still considered to be the best of W.A.S.P.'s career, and one of the greatest concept albums of all time! It undoubtedly belongs in every metal head's record collection!
