Stratovarius - Nemesis

Well, it seems that there’s life after Tolkki huh! Is that possible though? But let’s take things right from the start. Tolkki is Stratovarius and vice versa, let’s be clear! I can’t tell if leaving his brainchild to Kotipelto and disappearing was the right thing to do or not. Possibly when he finds his inner peace someday, he will be back for, in truth to be told, he made Stratovarius the second best European metal band, after Helloween of course, and “Dreamspace” is the band’s best work to date. He didn’t manage to beat that album neither with “Fourth Dimension” (which introduced Timo Kotipelto) nor with “Episode” even though they both came very close.

Heimdall - Aeneid

Heimdall is one of the “old” Italian power metal bands that started around the same time with Rhapsody and helped the whole thing become more popular along the country. Therefore, after a 9-year hiatus they’re back with a new album. Their last album was released in 2004, so we must see what has happened in the band’s camp all these years.

Dark Quarterer

Hi Gianni… I think it was a great idea to re-record and re-arrange your debut album. Finally, the people will have the chance to get it more easily and enjoy the updated & dynamic sound.
G: Hello Thanos. Yes, in fact we also believe that the idea was right. The first edition has a bad recording quality. Now finally the listener can appreciate every detail! In any case it was nice to taste the flavors of music that we did not play for 25 years... many memories of those years... every note is a picture of the past... believe me...

Deadlands - Evilution on February 22nd, 2013

The band was formed in the summer of 2010 by lead vocalist Brian O'Connor (Consfearacy, ex-Vicious Rumors), lead guitarist Michael J. Gardner (The Council), lead guitarist Kevin Rohr (Spectre), bassist extraordinaire Steve "Dedbass" Northam and drummer Danny Sablan (HateFX, The Council).
Their intention was to write and produce their own brand of heavy metal, while utilizing their past and present influences as a foundation and inspiration for their musical direction.
