Satan’s Fall signs worldwide deal with Steamhammer / SPV

Steamhammer / SPV are opening the new year 2022 with a real bang, taking advantage of the increasingly upbeat mood after this never ending lockdown: Satan’s Fall, one of the most promising metal bands from Finland, has signed with the Hanover-based label. After their successful “Final Day” debut album, the band has been working on material for their next studio album.

Hyperia to release new studio album “Silhouettes of Horror” on March 18th 2022

Canadian thrashers Hyperia, formerly of Calgary, AB, now residing in Vancouver, BC announce they will be self-releasing their new album “Silhouettes of Horror” this coming March 2022. The full-length follows their 2020’s “Insanitorium” unleashed via Sliptrick Records and their 2019 EP “Fish Creek Frenzy”.

Sacrosanct working on new studio album and announces new vocalist Ron ‘Brew’ Brouwer

Sacrosanct, the international progressive metal quintet founded by former Pestilence guitarist Randy Meinhard, that was established in 1988 is on the verge of completing their fifth studio album, that is to see the light of day in 2022.

The follow-up to their highly acclaimed 2018 masterpiece “Necropolis” contains eight compelling compositions, recorded between February 2020 and August 2021.

Sacred Oath to sign with Wormholedeath for the worldwide release of their new album “Return of the Dragon”

Legendary Connecticut Power-Thrashers Sacred Oath signed a licensing deal with Wormholedeath for their album “Return of the Dragon” due for release on on November 19th, 2021, worldwide.

One of the earliest Australian bands to play thrash/speed metal, Nothing Sacred was conceived in Melbourne, Australia in 1983. Unleashing their debut EP “Deathwish” in early 1985, launching the band as one of the most sought-after pit makers with the record’s title track becoming a classic within the Australian metal scene.

Emissary reform after 25 years and working on new album

Southern Oregon melodic thrashers Emissary have reformed after a 25-year hiatus to record a new album for Germany’s Underground Power Records, to be released on CD and vinyl later this year.

Artillery to release “The Last Journey” single as tribute to Morten Stützer on October 16th 2020

On October 16th, 2020, Artillery will release the new song “The Last Journey” - featuring former singers Flemming Rønsdorf and Søren Adamsen - digitally and on vinyl via Metal Blade Records. The B-side features “Trapped Under Ice”, a cover by Metallica.

“The Last Journey” is dedicated to the memory of former Artillery guitarist Morten Stützer, who passed away in October 2019.
