King Woman to release new studio album “Celestial Blues” on July 30th 2021

King Woman, the outfit featuring songwriter, producer, vocalist and “tour de force of gloom and woe” (Rolling Stone) Kris Esfandiari, return with their eagerly-awaited sophomore album, “Celestial Blues” (July 30th, 2021, Relapse Records).

Eindhoven post-metal unit, An Evening With Knives, has finished the work on their hotly anticipated, sophomore album.

Raum Kingdom to release debut full-length album “Everything & Nothing” on June 1st 2018

Following their critically lauded split-cd with All We Expected issued nearly three years, Ireland's post-metal group Raum Kingdom finally returns with their full-length album titled “Everything & Nothing”.

Recorded at Dead Dog studios in Drogheda, Ireland by Johny Kerr, “Everything & Nothing” is set for release on June 1st, 2018, on vinyl, CD and cassette sees Raum Kingdom refining their dark and emotionally intense post-metal sound merging heavy and dense riffs with ethereal and intriguing ambiences.

Empress to release debut EP “Reminiscence” on February 12th 2018

Introducing Empress... This three-headed beast from Vancouver, B.C. was born after guitarist/vocalist Peter Sacco (Seer) and drummer Chris Doyle attended a show headlined by doom mavens Elder.

Inspired by the massive wall of sound and psychedelia they encountered on that fateful night, the pair enlisted bassist Brenden Gunn (Craters) and set out to create their own brand of stoner/sludge metal.

Orphanage Named Earth signs to Argonauta Records

Argonauta Records is thrilled to welcome in the family Orphanage Named Earth, Post Metal / Hardcore Sludgers from Poland.

The band formed in 2015 as a four-piece and recorded a 5 songs demo, self released in February 2016 and distributed among friends and allies. At that time, the band coined their music as “romantic crust”, originally as a joke, but it caught on and stayed with the band, as according to many, it defines their music style very well.

Sorxe to release new studio album “Matter & Void” on November 24th 2017

Phoenix, AZ-based experimental sludge/post metal band Sorxe have announced their signing to Prosthetic Records.

The four-piece rely heavily on improvisation, pulling ideas from an eclectic well of inspiration ranging from Neurosis, Swans, Melvins and Pink Floyd.

Sorxe consists of guitarist/vocalist Tanner Crace, drummer Shane Ocell, and two bassists - Christopher Coons and Jonathan Portnoy, who tread new psychedelic ground into the unknown.
 

Junius announces Fall 2017 West Coast Tour

Mesmerizing post-metal outfit Junius have announced a west coast tour in support of their highly-acclaimed latest album, “Eternal Rituals for the Accretion of Light”.

The trek starts September 21st in Phoenix, AZ and will feature Black Mare and Mustard Gas & Roses as support.
