Lotus Thrones to release debut full-length album “Lovers in Wartime” on July 30th 2021

Philadelphia-based Lotus Thrones, the solo project formed by former Wolvhammer and Across Tundras drummer Heath Rave during the 2020 quarantine, has completed its first full-length release. “Lovers in Wartime” will see late July release through Disorder Recordings, who this week reveals the cover art, track listing, and a brief teaser for the album.
 

Kat Von D to release debut album “Love Made Me Do It” on August 27th 2021

Big Paul Ferguson to release first solo album “Virtual Control” on June 25th 2021

As a founding member and co-creative mind behind proto-industrial post-punk icons Killing Joke, Big Paul Ferguson has already earned his place among the most influential and highly regarded musicians of his era. Ferguson’s signature tribal drum style not only set Killing Joke apart from the scores of British bands coming up in the 80s, adding both depth and weight to the band’s piercing, discordant sound, but it also became a reference point for rock percussionists that followed in the band’s wake.

The Antikaroshi to release new studio album “Extract.Transform.Debase” on April 23rd 2021

German avant/post-rock trio The Antikaroshi presents their fifth LP, “Extract.Transform.Debase”, ending a five-year gap between albums. The album has just been announced to see release this April, once again through their allies at Exile On Mainstream, who now issue a new teaser, the cover artwork, track listing, preorders, and more.
 

Nick Hudson to release new solo album “Font of Human Fractures” on April 30th 2021

Brighton-based singer-songwriter Nick Hudson has announced that he will release his new “Font of Human Fractures” album this spring. Ahead of that, he presents a teaser for the 10-track offering, and a live rendition (recorded in Sophia, Bulgaria) of “There is No Such Thing as You”, which also appears on the LP.

The Wake to release new studio album “Perfumes and Fripperies” on October 30th 2020

Post-punk outfit The Wake has announced they will release a new long-play, entitled “Perfumes and Fripperies”. A fixture in the early - to mid-90s goth rock scene, The Wake are re-emerging with a new offering, almost 25 years since their last full-length album.

Ahead of that, they present the lead track “Hammer Hall”, a lushly layered, powerful, dark soundscape laced with infectious hooks and driven by signature vocals. Listen to the new track below.
