Kvaen to release new studio album “The Great Below” on March 25th 2022

Two Years after the successful and critically debut album, “The Funeral Pyre”, that took the underground scene by storm with its unique mix of elements of Black Thrash, Pagan and Speed Metal, today Sweden based solo- project Kvaen, founded by Jacob Björnfot, has announced its upcoming, sophomore album. “The Great Below” will be released as LP, CD, tape and digital formats on March 25th, 2022 through Black Lion Records.

Varmia signs with M-Theory Audio and announces new album “bal Lada”

The Polish pagan black metal group Varmia – who pay tribute to their Baltic roots by combining black metal sounds with traditional instruments such as the goat horn and the tagelharpa - has signed with M-Theory Audio. The band’s third album, “bal Lada”, will be released in Spring 2021.

Primordial announces April 2021 European Headlining Tour

Primordial continue to promote their highly acclaimed latest studio album, “Exile Amongst the Ruins”, which was released worldwide, via Metal Blade Records, in 2018.

The band will therefore be embarking on a next, re-scheduled third leg of the “Heathen Crusade” across Europe in April and have furthermore confirmed various international festival appearances for 2021, also in celebration of Primordial’s 30th Anniversary since inception in 1991. Below are the dates announced so far.

When the fellows launched Hangatyr in Spring 2006, the stylistic direction of the idealists from Saxony and Central Thuringia was immediately clear: cold, Nordic guitar riffs, paired with typical Thuringian melodies and German lyrics, inspired by the mythology that lives deep inside the creators, should shape the music.

Primordial announces April 2020 European co-headlining tour with Moonsorrow

14 years after their first European “Heathen Crusade” and only 2 years after the second Crusade, Primordial and Moonsorrow will invade Europe again, bringing their double co-headliner brand to another 6 European countries during 9 days.

As very special guest they will bring the neo-folk one-man act Rome to round up the tour package.

Wiegedood show no sign of slowing down: After recently returning from shows in Australia and New Zealand as well as a month long European headlining tour in support of their latest album, “De Doden Hebben Het Goed III”, the Belgium three-piece just announced another full European tour supporting YOB.

Celtachor to release new studio album “Fiannaìocht” on April 20th 2018

The third full-length of Ireland's Celtachor, entitled “Fiannaìocht”, will be released on April 20th, 2018, through Trollzorn.

The band, established 2007 in Dublin, melds influences of Black, Doom and Folk Metal and showcases their own vision of Irish Mythology by playing music with passion and straight from the heart.

By adding a violinist and instruments like Irish harp and bouzouki, the new album results in more folk and melodic tunes.
