Dawn Of Disease re-signs with Napalm Records

Since 2016 the German Death Metal Institution Dawn Of Disease has been a part of the Napalm Records family, releasing two very strong albums in this relatively short period: “Worship the Grave” and “Ascension Gate” (which reached # 46 in the official German charts).

Through numerous shows supporting the likes Amon Amarth, Behemoth, Arch Enemy, Powerwolf, Sodom and At The Gates as well as appearances at festivals including Wacken Open Air, Rock Hard Festival, Party.San Open Air, Metal Hammer Paradise, Rockharz Festival, Metal On The Hill and Summer Breeze Open Air, Dawn Of Disease has gained attention far beyond the borders of their home country.

Since 2003 Dawn Of Disease have rumbled their way to the top as heavy weights of Germany's Death Metal scene. Hailing from Osnabrück, Dawn Of Disease indulge some old school Swedish groove and raspy riffs: Bloodbath and At The Gates provide modern inspiration for aural inclinations of the band.

However, their newest production won't enjoy the well-tried manginess of long forgotten Death Metal days: The brand new album titled “Ascension Gate” goes a different way with enthralling guitar work, enchanting management of melodies and brilliant tone. A hurricane of blastbeat drumming and the gigantic voice of Tomasz Wisniewski spark a fire that forges their spirit.

Dark Tranquility - Atoma

Dark Tranquility had quite a crisis in their hands when earlier this year their guitarist/bassist of some 25 years Martin Henrikkson announced his departure due to diminished interest in playing music. They could have broken up, but instead they picked up the pieces and soldiered on, coming out with their eleventh album.

Sweden's Dark Tranquility are currently recording their 11th full-length album “Atoma”, set to be released on November 4th, 2016 through Century Media Records.

The band says: “That's right! We're more than halfway done with the recording of the upcoming album, and it's shaping up to be a diverse and challenging affair that will feature a lot of different aspects of the D.T. sound. It's hard to be more specific while still immersed in the creative process, but we're incredibly excited about the material and can't wait to share the results with all of you soon”.

Dawn Of Disease to release new album “Worship the Grave” on June 24th 2016

It's no secret that Dawn Of Disease have been highly influenced by old school Swedish death metal: a healthy dose of Scandinavian rawness that worms its way into every tune, but now over the past couple of years these German death metallers have started to conquer new shores and they have now announced their worldwide signing with Napalm Records.
