Berlin-based progressive metal act The Ocean present an unusual live album. One that is a testimony of strange times: their “Phanerozoic” concept album performed live in its entirety at a time when no shows were happening anywhere in the World.

Tool have announced a mammoth 2022 tour, with the Los Angeles-based band spending 3 months traversing the U.S. followed by a month of European dates.

Tool elected to kick off the highly-anticipated trek in Eugene, Ore. as a nod to the abrupt halt to their 2020 Fear Inoculum tour. Slated to play the Matthew Knight Arena on March 12, 2020, the show, along with the band’s remaining tour dates, was canceled as nationwide lockdowns began to take effect that evening.

Forward-thinking prog-metallers Cold Night For Alligators have announced their third full-length album called “The Hindsight Notes”, due for release on February 4th, 2022, via Arising Empire, and just released a new single entitled “Verism”. A masterclass in tight riffing and majestic vocals, “Verism” is another window into the unblemished world of CNFA.
 

Hot on the heels of their new video for “The Alien”, celebrating the launch of their 15th studio album “A View From the Top of the World”, two-time GRAMMY-nominated and millions-selling progressive music titans Dream Theater have revealed further touring plans, intending to traverse Europe in spring 2022, following their autumn/winter US trek. Special guests are yet to be announced.
