Being an instrumental psychedelic folk rock band founded in Ankara in 1999, Hayvanlar Alemi has developed a very style of its own. Inspired by the innovative musical heritage of Turkey but also informed by the traditional and popular styles of the globe, blending together scales and rhythms of Asia, Africa, Middle East and South America with surf, dub, stoner rock and free improvisation.

Travelling under the moniker of “The Shapeshifting Tour”. The six-date UK run will start at the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill-on-Sea (May 22) finishing up at Birmingham Symphony Hall (May 28).

Captain Cheesebeard share new single “Deadwood”

Happily emerging many moons ago as a Frank Zappa tribute project, the Brussels-based decet (that’s Ten musicians, and yes, we checked), Captain Cheesebeard, have since developed into a unique fusion ensemble. After years of respectfully interpreting Zappa and his music, bandleader, Johan De Coninck decided that the time had come for the band to explore their own virtuosity and begin writing original compositions.

Enablers to release new studio album “Zones” on June 14th 2019

Zones”, the sixth studio full-length from San Francisco’s long-running quartet, Enablers, is confirmed for release on June 14th, 2019. The album is set for a vinyl release through a three-way label cooperation between Germany’s Exile On Mainstream, UK-based Lancashire & Somerset, and US-based Broken Clover Records.
