Steve Dadaian to release debut album “Follow the Light” on February 1st 2019

Armenian-American fusion guitarist Steve Dadaian discovered his love for the guitar at a young age. Even while studying at the prestigious Columbia University in the city of New York, Dadaian continued to hone his craft as an artist.

The then 21-year-old classically-trained guitarist spent the little spare time he had reaching top spots at national guitar competitions hosted by Slash, John Petrucci (Dream Theater) and Jon Donais (Anthrax, Shadows Fall), performing at events with the likes of Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai, and Nicko McBrain, and dazzling crowds at venues like the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Brain Tentacles to release self-titled debut album on September 30th 2016

The self-titled debut album from mind-melting metallic jazz trio Brain Tentacles is a journey in improvised and structured experimental sound from three venerable scene veterans. Featuring Bruce Lamont (Yakuza, Bloodiest, Corrections House etc.) on horns, voice, electric piano, and synth, Dave Witte (Discordance Axis, Municipal Waste, Deny The Cross etc.) on drums, and Aaron Dallison (Keelhaul) on bass, voice, and synth, Brain Tentacles sees the three-piece weaving their way through twisted, seizure-inducing compositions that call to mind the insanity of John Zorn’s storied project Naked City and Mike Patton’s most erratic experiments.

Divine Realm - Tectum Argenti

Divine Realm begun as a one-man band, the brainchild of Canadian multi-instrumentalist Leo Diensthuber, back in 2010 only to be fleshed out into a full band line-up by 2013 and following the release of some self-penned/performed material prior to that. An EP called “Abyssal Light” turned up in 2014 and two years later the band debuts their first full-length, entitled “Tectum Argenti”. Say… compared to a bloated Dream Theater, this takes away the vocals and almost all melodies and leaves you with just rhythms changing and a guide guitar that sounds like an annoying keyboard.

Utopia - Mood Changes

Utopia is a prog metal band from Rome, Italy. Their sound is deeply rooted in progressive with some fusion/jazzy influences. The remind me slightly of Dream Theater, maybe also due to Riccardo Fenaroli’s vocals, but they do have a less defined style, which is most welcome, fact of the matter on their debut, “Ice and Knives”, which was released in 2010. The band featured guest guitarist Marco Sfogli (James LaBrie, PFM) as a guest, so you can see that the whole thing is anything but completely coincidental.

The first album “Ice and Knives”, released in 2010, featured guest guitarist Marco Sfogli (James LaBrie, PFM). The band has received positive feedback from media and public who exalted the band's ability to bring Fusion influences into Metal.

Guitarist Lorenzo Venza is also keeping him busy as a guitar instructor which secured him endorsement deals with Schecter Guitars and Mezzabarba/Masotti Guitar Devices.
