Eddie Brnabic & The Cosmic Fellowship - Subtle Realms

Eddie Brnabic is a Canadian multi-instrumentalist, guitarist, songwriter & producer who has resided in LA over the last decade. Having played with several bands & produced and released various albums, two of them with Beggars Ball, he decided to go solo in 2010 when he released “Beatitude”. A year later he teamed up with The Cosmic Fellowship and after a two-year period they have come up with “Subtle Realms”.

Hey Giulio, it’s great talking to you dude. 20 years is a long time period… it’s like a dream come true, right?
 
G: Hi my friend! Yes, absolutely!! “Believe” has always been in my dreams, but now it’s real!!
 
 
Why do you think that it had to be 20 years in order to release your so anticipated solo album? Was it a matter of good timing and experience after a certain point or what?

After 20 or so years a dream comes true for Mr. Giulio (Mantra, Darkfire), as he finally manages to release his anticipated solo album. Surrounded by a team of experienced musicians such as: Mario Percudani (Hungryheart, Mitch Malloy, Axe, Issa) on guitars & backing vox, Apollo Negri (Link Quartet, Wicked Minds) on keys, Gianni Grecchi (Blueville, Rusty Miles) on bass and Paolo Botteschi (Hungryheart) on drums, resulted in getting the best results on the songs arrangements. All the aforementioned musicians have also helped din the songwriting.

Joe Satriani launches video for A Door Into Summer

Guitarist Joe Satriani has launched a video for his new single “A Door Into Summer” taken from his new 2013 album “Unstoppable Momentum”.  
 
The video features exclusive footage from the famed Skywalker Ranch in Marin County, California, where Joe recorded the new album with Mike Keneally, Vinnie Colaiuta and Chris Chaney.
 
The video is directed by Jon Luini and Arthur Rosato for Chime Interactive.

Joe Satriani - Unstoppable Momentum on May 6th

Legendary performer and the hardest working guitarist in the business, Joe Satriani confirms the release of his 14th studio album, “Unstoppable Momentum” in the UK on Monday May 6 (U.S. release is Tuesday May 7) through Epic Records/Sony Music UK. The album was recorded at Skywalker Sound in San Francisco and was produced by Satriani and Mike Fraser (AC/DC).
 
The new album features an amazing array of talented players including: Vinnie Colauita (Sting, Jeff Beck) on drums, Chris Chaney (Janes Addiction) on bass and Mike Keneally (Dethklok) on keyboards.

Here, we have a newcomer rock band from Italy. They were formed back in 2009 and after a while they recorded their demo “13 Toads of Positivity”.
