Sweden’s most creative and exciting export, Avatar, have announced a series of concert streams - Avatar Ages - An Impossible Concert Experience - that will take place over the course of January 2021.

The 4-part concert film experience launches on January 9th and will feature songs from Avatar’s celebrated catalog, starting with a performance of their latest album in full, “Hunter Gatherer”, out now via eOne.

TV icon David Hasselhoff has recorded a metal song, “Through the Night”, with the two-man metal project CueStack, and a Kickstarter campaign to finance the final steps of editing a video and “making-of” documentary on the project is now underway.

After the release of seven solo albums between 2008 and 2018, Italian bassist and composer Alberto Rigoni (soloist, Bad As, co-producer of Vivaldi Metal Project, founder of Bassists Alliance Project,ex Twinspirits) is now going to release “Prog Injection”, an instrumental heavy progressive album, which features worldwide known drummer Thomas Lang (Peter Gabriel, Paul Gilbert, Glenn Hughes etc.) and Alessandro Bertoni on keyboards (Ric Fierabracci, Craig Blundell, Brett Garsed etc.)

Turilli / Lione Rhapsody - featuring original Rhapsody members Luca Turilli and Fabio Lione, completed by former Rhapsody members Dominique Leurquin, Patrice Guers and Alex Holzwarth - have signed to Nuclear Blast and King Records (Japan & rest of Asia) for the release of their debut album. The band is currently mixing the album which is set to be released this summer.
