Louise Patricia Crane releases new single “Snake Oil”

Louise Patricia Crane launches the spellbinding single “Snake Oil” culled from her forthcoming album, “Deep Blue” across all digital platforms.

The singer and songwriter’s commanding presence is complemented on this track by luminaries including Jakko Jakszyk (King Crimson), Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull) and Scott Reeder (Kyuss / The Obsessed).

Louise Patricia Crane to release debut album “Deep Blue” on May 15th 2020

“Deity” is the debut single from vocalist and songwriter Louise Patricia Crane and transports the listener into an alternate world where “Dear Prudence” was tracked in the “White Album” sessions; a twilight place where the veil between life and death is at its thinnest, and the baroque sounds of 1980s avant-garde dream pop and guitar-driven 1970s progressive rock are natural bedfellows.

We were treated to a quick 20 minute taster set by Oxygen Thief. The contrast between the bright flashes of the strobe lighting and the dark room, complimented their heavy yet bouncy music style. Oxygen Thief are a folk punk and rock band, interchanging between acoustic and electric. Barry Dolan was originally an acoustic but loud solo act. Later forming the current three piece band with Neil on bass and Ben on drums, in 2013.
