Heavy metallers Spirits Of Fire have announced their return with new vocalist Fabio Lione (Angra, ex-Rhapsody Of Fire), who joins original members Chris Caffery, Steve DiGiorgio, and Mark Zonder on their second album, “Embrace the Unknown”. The album will land on February 18th, 2022.

Swedish saviors of heavy metal HammerFall let the hammer strike again with their twelfth studio album, “Hammer of Dawn”, set to be released on February 25th, 2022 via Napalm Records!

The album’s release is preceded by the arrival of the first single and title track, “Hammer of Dawn”, accompanied by a music video filmed at Liseberg amusement park in Gothenburg, and by famed director Patric Ullaeus.

German heavy metal icon Udo Dirkschneider will turn 70 years old on April 6th, 2022. Born in Wuppertal during the post-war period, when heavy metal hadn’t even been envisioned, he is the constant among the German metal scene and one of the decisive characters who helped shape the genre so significantly over the course of about five decades.

The Greek power metallers Emerald Sun will release their fifth album “Kingdom of Gods” on January 28th, 2022.

It will be the first collaboration with their new label El Puerto Records. “Kingdom of Gods” (cover & artwork by Michael Gladigau) contains 10 brand new, varied classic power metal hymns.

Once again, producer Marcos Rodriguez (ex-Rage) was responsible for mix & mastering.
