US hard rockers SOTO, featuring the legendary hard rock vocalist Jeff Scott Soto (Malmsteen, Talisman, Journey), have released a new video/single and cover of the Michael Jackson classic “Give In to Me” as a free holiday giveaway/download.

Formed only in 2012, Gutter Instinct quickly gained underground attention with their unconventional matrimony between the ferocious HM-2 buzzsaw sound, the early American Death Metal influences and the abrasive misanthropic nature of Black Metal; the end result is a monstrous blend of huge crushing riffs raining down like an avalanche but with a tinge of melodic sensibility reminiscent of their Swedish counterparts.

The Unguided have a whole load of news to share! OK, let's start from the very beginning. Sadly guitarist and singer Roland Johannsson has decided to leave the band. But no need to worry, as the band has already found his perfect replacement! Please welcome Jonathan Thorpenberg, who has previously performed with The Unguided on the last tour in the camp!

Finally! Eluveitie is alive, complete and stronger than ever before! Because after the folk metal superstars had to part ways with some band members in May 2016, mourning and waiting is over: the new line-up is set! It was a long tramp for the fans as well as for the band to get there. BABYMETAL will appear as special guests to Metallica at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, Korea on January 11th 2017 as part of their WorldWired world Tour.

Currently being rapturously received by UK audiences on Red Hot Chili Peppers mammoth arena tour of the UK, the news further cements what looks to be an incredible start to 2017 for BABYMETAL, which also includes supporting Guns N’ Roses in Japan in January.

The Egyptian classic rock band Rock Rockies announces the details of their upcoming single.

“Bad Girl” is the band's new single, which will be released on Saturday, December 31st, 2016.

James Massi from Rock Rockies said about the song during the recording sessions at the studio: “new sound, new riffs and it's dirty song!”...   

Also, the band's drummer - Patrick Khalil - said about the song that it's “The dirty good old-school Rock with a modern progressive twist”.

After playing more than 300 shows already, it is time for Vitja to headline their first club tour throughout Germany.

Special guests will be Breathe Atlantis, Improvement and Die Heart.

The tour will be following the release of their upcoming album “Digital Love”, which is out on Century Media Records / People Like You Records on March 3rd, 2017.

Vitja will play another short run of dates after Christmas together with Callejon and Rogers.

Norwegian black metal icons Mayhem are celebrating the release of their 1994 landmark “De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas” full-length with tours across the globe.

This coming January, the band will march their way across North America performing the record in its monumental entirety.

In conjunction with their many live appearances, Mayhem will also release “De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas Alive” on December 15th, 2016.

Phoenix, AZ's young and rapidly growing progressive rock 4-piece Paranova will be hitting the road this month on select dates with LA's The World Over.

This marks the second major tour for Paranova, having made their first mark on the road back in March, in support of Chrysalis. The tour, which will hit a number of iconic small clubs in the Western US, will end on Dec 22nd, where they will be supporting Sumerian Records' September Mourning at San Diego's Brick By Brick (owned by ex-members of local legends As I Lay Dying).

Sex Pistols frontman Johnny Rotten turned sixty in January of this year, and now that the legendary rocker has entered his Golden Years, he’s apparently getting too old for unabashedly brazen hobbies. According to the rock legend himself, since turning 60, playing bingo has appealed to him more than causing Anarchy. Speaking to The Mirror, he said that his hobbies include “a round of bingo”, and that he likes it when “bingo!” is shouted during the game. “I’d rather play a round of bingo than anything else”, he added. Real name John Lydon, Johnny also reported that he is adapting to how his body is changing with age.
