Tarja to release new album’s prequel “The Brightest Void” on June 3rd 2016

While waiting for August 5th and the release of Tarja’s new album “The Shadow Self”, the queen of heavy rock has yet another surprise for her fans: Tarja and earMusic proudly announce the release of the new album’s prequel “The Brightest Void”. With over 50 minutes of new music, the extra album will sweeten the wait until August!

Tarja explains:

Beyond The Black - Lost in Forever

You have to love the fact that music is becoming more and more formulaic. What’s selling? Vampires, sappy stories about love, puppies, girls wearing corsets, tattoos and something akin to Eurovision pop, but with a mild dose of distortion. You can mix and match trying to create something like Nightwish or Within Temptation and if your production values are good and you have at least a couple of decent tracks, even on your debut on a multinational company no less, you get to tour with veteran acts, who will not say no to the money offered to play or end up “near headlining” concerts that will not have bands with a couple of albums unless they pay or go play for absolutely free, no matter how good they are.

Belladonna - The Orchestral Album

After 2013’s album “Shooting Dice with God”, I was expecting a new studio album from Belladonna, but it seems that the band had different plans and they finally recorded and released the orchestral album they’ve always wanted to. At first, I was a bit skeptical, but knowing how much both Luana Caraffa and Dani Macchi take care of every little detail, I was pretty sure that this new release was going to be rather enjoyable… and thankfully, I was damn right!
