Byron to release debut album “The Omega Evangelion” on March 26th 2021

Byron is a melodic heavy metal band from Finland founded in 2019 as a one-man studio project, now standing as a full-grown band. Byron mixes its eclectic sound with influences from various genres, such as occult rock and doom, topping it with themes and imagery of the arcane and the occult.

Wolftooth signs worldwide deal with Napalm Records and announces new album “Valhalla”

After hustling in the underground scene for the better part of three years, Richmond, Indiana-based metal outfit Wolftooth snagged the attention of Napalm Records with their multifaceted blend of classic NWOBHM and doom influences lifted by heavy stoner rock riffage.

Closing out a bleak year with something very bright, the band is pleased to announce that they’ve signed worldwide contract with the premier rock and metal label!
 

Thorium to release new studio album “Empires in the Sun” on March 5th 2021

The second Thorium album “Empires in the Sun” will be released on March 5th, 2021, via Freya Records. The record is now available for pre-order here.

For the epic trilogy “1302” the band acquired the help of several renowned guest vocalists: Arjen Anthony Lucassen (Ayreon), Benny “Zors” Willaert (23 Acez), Joe Van Audenhove (Evil Invaders) and Anneleen Olbrechts. Moreover, Norman Eshley (Blind Guardian) lent his warm voice to provide the narration on a selection of songs.

Iron Maiden to release new double live album “Legacy of the Beast” on November 20th 2020

Parlophone Records (BMG in the USA) are pleased to announce the release of Iron Maiden’s new double live album on November 20th, 2020, worldwide.

Containing over 100 minutes of classic Maiden music and available in multiple formats, “Nights of the Dead, Legacy of the Beast: Live in Mexico City” was recorded during the band’s three sold out arena shows there in September 2019 and is a celebration of their Legacy Of The Beast World Tour, which began in 2018 and will finish next Summer in Europe.

Diamond Head to release 40th Anniversary re-recording of “Lightning to the Nations” on November 20th 2020

Vital, venerated, and vintage, when Diamond Head first released “Lightning to the Nations” forty years ago in 1980, few could have predicted the importance it would carry - and establish - with regards to heavy metal's new wave and sound. Stacked and packed with riffs, “Lightning to the Nations” would be one of the prime catalysts for a movement known as the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM).
