Exodus to release new studio album “Persona Non Grata” on November 19th 2021

With a bond forged in youth and decades-old friendship, the undisputed masters of thrash metal, Exodus, return with their eleventh studio album, “Persona Non Grata”, due to be released on November 19th, 2021, via Nuclear Blast Records.

Today, the band releases a music video for the first single entitled “The Beatings Will Continue (Until Morale Improves)”. Watch the video written and directed by BJ McDonnell and produced by James A Rota, below.

Anthrax announces Fall 2022 UK & European Headlining Tour

Still celebrating their 40-year tenure as one of music’s premier thrash metal bands, Anthrax announces their first European & UK tour since the summer of 2019. Kicking off on September 27th 2022 in Birmingham, UK, the band will play 28 dates in 16 countries, wrapping up in Zurich, Switzerland on November 5th. Crossover thrash band Municipal Waste will support on all dates.  

Trivium to release new studio album “In the Court of the Dragon” on October 8th 2021

Grammy-nominated band Trivium - Matt Heafy [vocals, guitar], Corey Beaulieu [guitar], Paolo Gregoletto [bass], and Alex Bent [drums] - have announced that they will release their tenth album, titled “In the Court of the Dragon”, on October 8th, 2021, via longtime label Roadrunner Records.

The record was produced and mixed by Josh Wilbur and recorded in autumn 2020 at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida.
 

Megadeth announces James LoMenzo as touring bassist for the upcoming Metal Tour Of The Year

In just 9 days, the Metal Tour Of The Year co-headlined by Megadeth and Lamb Of God will lay waste to cities across North America as the highly anticipated trek finally hits the road. Megadeth have today announced that joining them to take care of bass duties for this tour will be former Megadeth member, James LoMenzo.

Sepultura announces rescheduled North American tour dates for Spring 2022

Sepultura has announced their rescheduled “Quadra Tour” across North America with Sacred Reich, Crowbar, and Art Of Shock.

Initially scheduled as a 2020 run, the North America Quadra Tour 2022 kicks off March 4th in Sacramento, California and makes its way through a month’s worth of shows, ending on April 9th in Berkeley California. Additional support will be provided by Art Of Shock. All tickets previously purchased for the 2020 dates, will be honored.

Philm announces new drummer Anthony Drinkwater

Los Angeles CA experimental heavy rock trio Philm featuring vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Gerry Nestler (Civil Defiance, Kleq Muzzil) and bassist Pancho Tomaselli (War, Ultraphonix) have announced the addition of new drummer Anthony Drinkwater, who will make his live debut with the group with a trifecta of upcoming Southern California shows.

Criminal to release new studio album “Sacrificio” on September 17th 2021

On September 17th, 2021, Criminal will release their new album, “Sacrificio”, via Metal Blade Records.
