Burning Gloom releases music video for first single “Nightmares”

Formely known under the flag of My Home On Trees, the well-respected stoner-doom band hailing from Milano, Italy, just recently announced the change of their band name into Burning Gloom and the worldwide signing with powerhouse label Argonauta Records. 2019 will see them celebrating their comeback with a new shining identity and sound, leaving behind the past and release their brand new album titled “Amygdala” on June 14th, which will definitely surprise and please both fans and critics alike!
 

Alchemical Wake signs worldwide deal with Argonauta Records

Hailing from sunny Sardinia, Italy, dark sludge and doom metal unit Alchemical Wake have inked a worldwide deal with Argonauta Records, joining the label’s eclectic artist roster among bands such as Destroyer of Light, High Fighter, Mammoth Storm, Ancient Vvisdom, Komatsu and many more high class acts!

Alchemical Wake formed in 2014 and released a first EP two years later. In early 2019 the band hit the studio to record their debut album, titled “Cassiopea”, due out this year on Argonauta Records.

1782 to release self-titled debut album on May 24th 2019

It was a cold December day in 2018, when Marco Nieddu and Gabriele Fancellu formed a doom band called 1782, in honor of all the “witches” murdered by the bigoted minds of many generations. Just a month later, the band entered the studio to record the single “She was a Witch”, released by Electric Valley Records in within the same month. Only a few days after its release, the single turned out to be a great success, especially on social media and by listeners of the genre.

Haze Mage to release debut full-length album “Chronicles” on April 19th 2019

Grimoire Records presents “Chronicles”, the debut full-length recording from Baltimore, Maryland-based fantasy doom metal act Haze Mage. The record will be released in April, and this week, the label has issued details on the sprawling release including album artwork, preorders, and more.

Previously known as My Home On Trees, the stoner-doom band hailing from Milano, Italy, started their first moves in 2011, but it’s in 2012 when the band dives into any live activities and understood quickly which road had to be taken, playing the first shows and looking for the right sound. After the release of a first self-produced EP featuring 5 tracks in 2012, the band played tons of shows in Italy and signed with the label Heavy Psych Sounds Records in 2015, who released their first and ciritically acclaimed album, “How I Reached Home”.

Khemmis unveil “Flesh to Nothing” guitar playthrough

Hailing from Denver’s thriving doom-metal scene, Khemmis captivated fans with their latest album “Desolation”, which was released on June 22nd of this year via 20 Buck Spin and Nuclear Blast Entertainment.

Combining traditional doom with Thin Lizzy-style hard rock, the band have honed their craft to blend both extreme and old-school influences more seamlessly than ever before.

Ill-omened melodies alongside chugging, galloping riffs set the tone of the album and in a special trailer being unveiled today, duelling axemen Phil Pendergast and Ben Hutcherson play through new track, “Flesh to Nothing”. Check it out below.

Black Elephant to release new studio album “Cosmic Blues” on July 20th 2018

Italian psychedelic fuzz rock unit Black Elephant will release their third full-length, and first under the Small Stone Records banner, titled “Cosmic Blues”, this July.
 
One would be hard-pressed to come up with a better descriptor for Black Elephant's “Cosmic Blues” full-length than the title of the album itself. Based in Savona, Italy, the four-piece have conjured ghosts of '70s heavy fuzz and '90s riff mongering offering up a sonic brew that's both potent and thoroughly modern. “Cosmic Blues” follows 2014's “Bifolchi Inside” and 2012's “Spaghetti Cowboys” (get it?) and marks their debut on Small Stone Records.

Khemmis to release new studio album “Desolation” on June 22nd 2018

Denver doomed heavy metal quartet Khemmis have issued the first details and lead single for their anxiously-anticipated third album, “Desolation”.

Confirmed for release on June 22nd, 2018, “Desolation” will see release via 20 Buck Spin in North America and via Nuclear Blast Entertainment throughout the rest of the world.

The bewitching cover artwork for the new album was created by Sam Turner (Black Breath, 3 Inches Of Blood, In The Company Of Serpents).

Debut single “Isolation” has also been made public today, alongside an esoteric video directed by Italo Ganni.
