Crown Of Autumn releases music video for first single “Cyclopean”

The Italian Dark Metal veterans Crown Of Autumn are now premiering the very first track taken from their upcoming album “Byzantine Horizons”.

The official videoclip for “Cyclopean” was filmed in the wonderful location of Palazzo Gonzaga Guerrieri in Volta Mantovana (MN), Italy, by Mattia Stancioiu and Nelb Rodrigues and edited by Emanuele Rastelli.

Vasil Hadzimanov Band - Lines in Sand

Vasil Hadzimanov is back with his sophomore release around three years after his debut. This time the virtuoso Serbian keyboardist, composer and arranger is expanding his musical horizons by embellishing his ethnic, Balkan folk, prog rock and jazz/fusion music with atmospheric, R&B, funk, avant garde, psychedelia, trance and electronica elements here and there. Still, the musical experimentations along with the passionate and creative improvisations are here, cuz they are the very essence of this “kind of music”, in a way.
 

Motanka signs with Napalm Records

Traditional Ukrainian Mystic Metal masterminds Motanka have joined forces with Napalm Records! Their unique sound, blending modern electro, metal and ethnic motives, leads the listener back to ancient times. Adding traditional Ukrainian instruments like dulcimer and ocarina to a classic metal band outlet underlines their traditional trademarks.

Motanka is the name of the traditional doll that ancient Ukrainians used as an overseer for their protection and for the communication with their ancestors.

Shadygrove release live video for “The Port of Lisbon”

Folk/acoustic band Shadygrove has just unleashed a live version of the song “The Port of Lisbon”, taken from their debut album “In the Heart of Scarlet Wood”.

The video was taken at “Bum Bum Festival” in Bergamo (IT), as opening act for Lacuna Coil.

Wardruna present video for Old Norse poem “Voluspá”

Leading up to the release of Wardruna’s acoustic album “Skald”, Einar Selvik has teamed up with Finnish company Koski Syvari led by Tuukka Koski, plus a pack of wolves, creating a beautiful film to his skaldic rendition of the Old Norse poem “Voluspá” (Prophecy of the Seeress).

Filming took place in Finland where Einar spent intense days of training with the wolves and their caretakers, preparing for the shoot.
