Here in solo instrumental mode, the entire record consists of just one instrument, the pipe organ, and represents absolute liberation of the imagination.

The Oracle to release debut full-length debut “Hypogeum” on August 14th 2020

Worcester, Massachusetts-based avant electronics project The Oracle will release its debut full-length debut “Hypogeum” this August, via Repose Records.
 
Inspired at once by the grandiosity of film scores and classical music, the bleakness of black metal, and minimalist ambient music, “Hypogeum” is dark and at times ritualistic with its themes and complimentary visuals touching upon the rise and fall of messiah-like figures and cult leaders.

Lucynine signs with Inverse Records and announces new album “Amor Venenat”

Finnish record company Inverse Records proudly welcomes the Italian project Lucynine.
 
Lucynine was born in 2013 as a studio project of the multi-instrumentalist, singer and producer Sergio Bertani. The debut “Chronicles from Leri”, a 5-track EP between trip hop, psychedelia and death metal, received a good visibility, helped by the presence of guests like John Baggott (Massive Attack, Robert Plant) and Gigi Giugno (Braindamage).

To start right off... wow! This album is great. It is a thrill ride from beginning to end. Orchestrations, choir chants, breakbeats, electronica, heavy guitar riffs, concertina/accordion, this album has just about all flavors of soundscape.
 
It’s heavy, there are lots of orchestrations, and the usage of electronica is great and tasteful. There are areas of chanting and choruses.
 

Mohit to release debut full-length album “Preface” on May 1st 2020
