Greek black metal act Yoth Iria have signed a deal with Poland’s Pagan Records to release their debut album. Entitled “As the Flame Withers”; the album is planned for a December 2020 release.

Yoth Iria is a massive comeback from the duet, which developed and pioneered the underground scene back in the day: Jim Mutilator and The Magus.

Hard-to-pigeonhole black metal-centered outfit Lord Almighty is proud to announce their upcoming second album, “Wither”. Set for release on Friday, October 16th, 2020. It is the follow up to the group’s 2015 debut album, “Paths”.

The Boston-based group has been active since 2013 and continues to craft a unique crushing mix of black metal blasts and rock and roll melodics that is stylistically ever-evolving into the present. Cover art for “Wither” was handled by Adam O’ Day. 

Nuclear Blast is proud to announce that ex-Kvelertak frontman, Erlend Hjelvik, has started a solo metal band Hjelvik and has signed with Nuclear Blast Records!

Finland’s black metal anti-traditionalists Oranssi Pazuzu will finally return to the stage in 2021, following the unfortunate cancellation of their tour for autumn of this year.

After recently releasing their new album “Mestarin Kynssi” and contorting the minds of listeners with their psychic and colourful black metal that knows no boundaries, the Finns announce new tour dates for April and May. Their intense ride will be supported by Brazil’s Deafkids and Norway’s Sturle Dagsland.

Greek psychedelic prog metal band and Agonia Records recent signees, Hail Spirit Noir, announce details surrounding their forth studio album, follow up to “Mayhem in Blue” from 2016.

Titled “Eden in Reverse”, the new album is set to be released on June 19th, 2020, via Agonia Records. Watch a trailer for “Eden in Reverse” below.

Two weeks ago, Finland’s experimental anti-traditionalists unleashed “Uusi teknokratia”, the first single off their new album “Mestarin Kynssi”, out on April, 17th, 2020.

Today, Oranssi Pazuzu have released a hypnotic music video for the song. Check it out below.

Rockshots Records announces their latest signing of Kiev, Ukraine’s Thy Despair for the release of their forthcoming album “The Song of Desolation”, due out on May 8th, 2020.

The dark metal band blends black, gothic, doom, symphonic and melodic death elements into their sound along with vocals being sung in both English and Ukrainian. Today they are sharing with fans the first single off the full length “Free One”.

Greek psychodelic prog metal band Hail Spirit Noir have signed a record deal with Agonia Records. The sextet’s new album is complete and has been slated for a tentative release in June 2020.
